5th Transnational Meeting at the Basketball Museum in Alcobendas, Madrid
A reduced team met at the Spanish Basketball Museum in Alcobendas, Madrid on February 27th and 28th of February for the last time before the Final Conference and Launch. Some Team members had to be excused due to the COVID19 European Health allert follwing recommendations from their local health authorities.
Nevertheless, the meeting was very productive. Ms. Anne Tiivas presented Ms. Karen Leach, a well known activist for safe sport and child safeguarding, who will be collaborating with Safe Sport International in the preparation and dissemination of the i-Protect Platform in Ireland. Ms. Leach attended the transnational meeting for the first time. Welcome!
A thorough testing phase on processes, usage and content was conducted by the i-Protect Partners and the students of Thomas More University of Applied Sciences and resulted in a series of recommendations that were implemented and presented to the Team.
The platform is now being replicated and translated into Spanish, French and Italian.
Presentation and Launch of the i-Protect Programme was set for May 8th at the Spanish Archeological Museum in Madrid. We hope to see yoy there!
